In order for us to legally sell your shares, we are required to verify your identity. There are two ways to do this:
- Online verification through our partner, FrankieOne; OR
- By providing 100 points of certified ID, the instructions for this can be found below.
Online verification is more convenient for most people, but not it does not work for everyone. This works by checking your details against several databases (electoral role, white pages, etc.) looking for a match. If a match can not be found, your online verification will fail, and you will need to revert to method 2.
Instructions to Provide Certified ID
This will only need to be done, if you cannot be verified online – Note these instructions are for our domestic customers only, for international requirements please see here.
To get a copy of your ID certified please follow the below instructions:
- Step 1: Collect 100 points of ID as per our checklist which can be found here, we require 1 form of primary ID from this list. These will need to be photocopied.
- Step 2: Find a person who can verify your documents from our list of accepted certifiers.
- Justice of the Peace
- Solicitor
- Police Officer from the state you reside in (must include badge number)
- Step 3: The certifier will need to state the following “I certify that this is a true and correct copy of the original document sighted on the DD/MM/YYYY” they will also need to include their name and registration number.
- Step 4: Send clear photos/scans of your certified copies to [email protected]
